Dr. Marcia Ribeiro, MD

Marcia Ribeiro, M.D. is a National Board Certified Doctor of Neurology and Psychiatry. She is the Director of Mid-Atlantic Headache Institute and Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University, Department of Neurology. Her sub-specialties include epilepsy and sleep disorders. Her major areas of interest are atypical facial pain and headaches.

Dr. Ribeiro has been in neurological practice since 1995 and has worked in various headache centers in the Washington D.C./Maryland area. She treats a wide variety of clients of all ages for acute and chronic neurological conditions and intractable headaches and facial pain. She prescribes medications and alternative medicine supplied by a team of experts in the field. She currently is involved in research projects and publications regarding the development of new treatments for various types of headaches.
